Default landscape photographer of the year?????

Hi guys,
Just to let you know, that sadly my entry in the UK Landscape Photographer of the Year Award didn't win, instead being judged Highly Commended.

As a reminder the photo is here

I'm obviously disappointed, but at the same time pretty chuffed, as the shot will be in the official publication, and also in the exhibition at the National Theatre London between the following dates 5th December 2009 24th January 2010, so if you're in the area pop along!

Anyway, whilst I'm here i thought i would share my latest shot with you:

A bigger version can be viewed here

and an even spookier version can be viewed on my blog:

cheers,

Matt

Matt,

You know, taste differs. This photo is right up my alley, and very much so. The winning is a minor thing. What a great thing that people get to see it in such a place

Congratulations, Matt

Torgny

BTW have you seen the graphical sheets by Roy Friberg.

this particular image doesn't do much for me... way underexposed (intentionally, i assume), and too much noise... but as Torgny mentioned, it's a matter of taste. i'm sure others will like this a lot...
