Default I like those a lot! (Who wouln't?)

Hello Karl, and welcome to this friendly site her at Steve's!

What is there to say? They are just perfection - nothing less. The 3 first ones are so crisp and sharp and well-exposed, there is really nothing more to add.

Well done!

My personal favorite is # 4 and #5.

Especially #4 with it's Low-Key, Dicken's atmosphere (you would expect Ebenezer Scrooge coming down that street, anytime) is a classic. It even looks like the shop-windows are Christmas-dressed for the occasion.

The mirrow-like reflections in #2 and #6 are extraordinary beautiful and well shot.

Very nice and perfect series, Karl!

BTW - I just looked through your Galleries and found a monochrome-picture I thought we would never see again, not after digital has taken over film-based photos - The portrait 79 of Eric Smith - Saltaire is just so good with all those amazing B&W-values!!!

Ohh my! I just realised how far we (I) still have to go.....

Karl - fantastic images. These are really very well done - interesting compositions and exposures are spot-on. I love the reflected blue light in the 2nd shot.

All truly wonderful shots. The only fault to me is the over saturation of the blue reflection in #2. Also in a couple of the pics I find the light flares a little too noticeable. Particularly in #4, 5 and 6. Your colors and focus are spot on.

karltog,

No use in talking about favourites here. Brilliant night pictures, all of them. Well, the Tea Rooms picture...
