Thanks, Ordo! Yes, she's been doing her own P&P and doing a lot of experimenting. I was showing her how to sharpen and when I told her it's my favorite part she said, "OK then I'll let you do it."

I'll show my wife your comments when I get home tonight. She'll be extremely pleased. I won't be surprised however if she's read it by then. She puts great stock and admiration to steves-digicamers' photos and regularly views them and takes lessons from them.

I wish my wife did all the pp work, but I had to agree to do half as I really do not like pp work.

Oh - wow!

# 7 is just awesome. So crisp, sharp and clear and the colors are beautiful. The texture on those wooden-piles is something! Very good catch, mrs. vvcarpio!!

I like # 8 too. That red-brick building is framed superbly, vvcarpio. Nice perspective too. Is this a HDR with all them moving people? I cannot make it out (I guess that means you have succeeded) eather way.

:-)

Thank you, Walter! "Mrs. vvcarpio" () will be extremely pleased by your wonderful comments.

Yes, #8 is an HDR-edit. I used DPHDR's anti-ghosting tool extensively. Sometimes the anti-ghosting leaves halos -- luckily this time it didn't.

Thank you for your compliments and taking the time to comment!

shoturtle, I think the composition alone (as you did with your Brooklyn Bridge shots) makes for excellent photos. P&P may not be necessary all the time.

Thank VV,

I have the old film thinking still, get as much right during the shoot, so you do not spend as much time doing pp.

VV, everything I like about these fantastic shots has been written by the other users - so I just agree with the above comments

All shots of this series are a pleasure to look at - can't wait to take these shots myself !!
