This looks really nice - I like the contrast and the colors! Is this a single shot or a panorama?

Default Wonderful panorama, rlewis0083!

Beautiful colors, sky, clouds and view, and the sunlight's play on the mountain-slopes is perfect, making this a "living" picture of a no daubt popular sight.

Well cought!

Unfortunately these are the forum limitations - max. 1024 px on the longest side

But the OP could upload a bigger versions somewhere - rlewis0083, what do you think? I'd love to see a bigger version too

gorgeous scene. the exposure is great, the many different contrasts between the sky, the snow, the land are great.and i love the way the moutains frame the valley.

Your shot reminds me of the landscape of New Zealand as seen in Lord of the Rings. Absolutely excellent shot. I gotta say we have been getting some incredible shots lately from a select few. I hope it spreads.

Thanks for all the comments. I stitched three shots together to make it. I tried to upload larger but the file size limitation stopped me. I will se if I can load a larger version again.
