Default Millstone Creek Falls

A few views of a fine little waterfall near Buffalo Mt in northeast Tennessee. Usually it's just a trickle, but we've had plenty of snowmelt and rain lately. Thanks for any comments/critique!

very nice scene mole.

Composition #3 is my pick here. i like seeing the 2nd part of the fall and the nice angle it makes as it leads out of the picture.

Nice series -#3 and #4 are my favourites here, I like composition with the stone and both parts of the fall (just like Dustin ).

Dustin & Maggo - Thanks for the kind and helpful comments! I appreciate your input.

(If you like waterfalls, I just posted a few more over at the Pentax DSLR section of the forum... http://forums.steves-digicams.com/pe...ner-creek.html)

Good work ! Technically sound photos. Your camera see seems dailed in.
Also it is great to see you exploring the scene with all different types
of shots. Keep thinking that way in the field as it will pay off huge
with less missed shots, especially if you are on trips and on a time table.

PS See if your can add a tad of selective color saturation to
some of the green moss or some of the brown in the rocks.
Thats the next level as opposed to just global color saturation.

Take care,
Dwayne Oakes

Amazing shots and location. You are lucky to have photographed such beauty. We have one here quite similar and I can't wait till the ice melts to capture it. Your last portrait mode shot works well with me.

Dwayne - Thanks for the helpful suggestions and detailed input. I appreciate your help!

Spy - I am blessed to live in a region with many waterfalls, and with the opportunity to explore (and get splashed by) plenty of them! I would love to see some shots of your frozen waterfall!

Joey - Thanks! Glad you liked them!
