Default Wetlands Sunrise

Sunday saw the best weather around here in a long while. I took the opportunity to get out and take some pictures. I headed over to my favorite place, the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge. I got there about 90 min before sun rise. Here are some shots I thought worked.

these look nice. the ribbons of vegetation break up the nicely colored water well and add to the layered look when combined with the clouds.

i really like the last one. the round pool makes a nice foreground and the sun peaking over the horizon balances with the mountains.

great colors in this set all around.

Holy cow, look at these colors - they're really amazing!! Sensational series, besides the colors I like the composition very much

All are great, but I like the last one best because of the hills in the distance. #2 is a close second IMO.

Thank you all for the in-depth comments. I am humbled by the praise.

Walter C. Here is one other that shows the "hills" a little more prominently.
Those "hills" BTW are the Marysville or Sutter Buttes. One of the smallest mountain ranges in the world. They are the result of volcanic activity during the Pleistocene age 1.5 million plus years ago.dsfg
