Wow Kevin, you never cease to amaze. this one is absolutely stunning and you captured quite a natural phenomenon as well. just a spectacular shot. as mentioned previously, get your shots in a gallery and retire from your day job

Too right you are, Walter... All this jok'n talent in this forum... Yikes, I wonder if I will ever be able to lift my head and offer a mere photograph... after I get my camera.

All the best.

Anything "sweeping" especially something as big as this is powerful for me. Great shot!

Thank you to everyone that commented on this photo. I appreciate every single one.

I was shocked today to find out that the photo of the Sphynx cat I posted here http://forums.steves-digicams.com/an...n-sphynxd.html
was picked by NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC DAILY DOZEN for today's photo for February week 3!
http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/your-shot/daily-dozen

I submitted it to them two days ago and to see that they picked it so quickly surprised me.

Oi, Spy! Good on you... I told ya, you ought put that on a decent 5 X 7 paper... mount and put it in a simple frame... Leave it on the table... your brother-in-law and his wife will chuffed to bits know YOU took it... and the National Geographic like too... I am very happy for you! Good going... I hope you have more pictures to come.

All the best.

How about the B&W version without the vignetted corners. But eyeballingdelicioso with or without the vignetting. Eyeballingdelicioso is for the benefit of Walter who might need another word albeit a made up one.

Does this forum have a special gallery or "hall of fame"... the exceptional talent in this forum is amazing... I wonder if many in the forum are professional photographers... Anyway, Kevin's (if that is his name) photos and others are just a real inspiration... and I am just happy to found this forum to see such things and learn.
