Excellent. They take me back to when one of my ships was in drydock. Looks just as cold, too!

Default WOW, Torgny!

What a strong series. You have some powerful photos there. I like # 1 very much. The scenery is both rough and beautiful. Nice details, lots of moods and lovely colors.

They are all good, but IMO # 1 and # 4 are the champions. I think that # 3's composition is a shrewd and brave one!

The last picture, # 5 is a pictograph of industry and shipping.

Well done series!

Imho, this could be better, if there was either more contrast to create more of an outline of the object, or HDR it. I would recomend idea 1 myself.

But these are amazing!

were you on a bridge, boat or on the other side of the harbor?

and last one, how far is this from you?

gjtoth,

Some of the world's biggest ships were built here before the Koreans took over. There still is a drydock and a what do you call it, "wetdock" (?), for repairing

Lucky you to have owned ships. Thank you

Walter,

Thank you. On number three yes. I both like and don't like that picture. Went back to the RAW. Did some lens correction in Ps CS4. Also to make the upper left corner less threatening. if you have the time - what do you think?

Colours from the in-camera .jpg differ from the RAW output, that has much less yellow

Anyhow, I'm the lazy kind, don't do much postprocessing, for good and for worse
