Default The Harbour Reds

Two different Canon cameras. Used simultaneously. Two different lenses. Two different processors. Two different colour interpretations. One pictador (as they might say in Spain)

Pictures number 1-5

Picture number 1-2 depicting Röda Sten (The Red Stone), a minor landmark. If you're kind I'll tell the story :-)

"C'est un Wasistdas" as they said in France during the second world war. A joke among linguists

Pictures number 9-12 (11 and 12 should change place but I don't want to adventure the black strip between the pictures)

Last picture, basically unaltered, but still to me anyhow, a bit aristi..., eh ... artro ..., ah, artisticistic (finally got it right) Posting pictures gets addictive. Is there an AAPP (Anonymous Addicted Picture Posters)

Thanks for following me in the thaw :- (

A nice set of pictures T. I really like #1 and #3.

By the way have you started post processing your pictures Torgny, thinking of #12.

Well Torgny, what will be next HDR?

Very nice set Torgny! I love the lines leading to the Tug in photo #3 and the way the reds stand out in these photos!

Bob,

Thank you for viewing and commenting. This is of course a variation on the theme grey with red accent

It is said that the Röda Sten became red when a Swedish naval officer was chased by the attacking Danes and killed, his blood splashing over the stone

Another myth is that a ship was saved by anchoring here at a forceful storm

A third that it's just a landmark for sailors.

Anyhow, here is a picture with an entirely different setting, made late 2006 by the best point and shoot of it's time, the Finepix F31fd

Hards80

Thank you, Hards80, for viewing and the comment. Your choice is very helpful, I seem to drown in my own pictures (blup)
