Default The sun is coming back to central Finland!!!

The sun is making a real come back here in central Finland. This is my first try at uploading a photo, so PLEASE have mercy on me if I don’t quite get it right… ALSO! This photo was taken with my Nokia N95, yes, you got that right, N95. I couldn’t take it anymore, not having a DSLR yet, so in a fit of desperation and in appreciation of the sun coming back…. I employed my N95 until I can purchase my Pentax K-7. Note that this picture was taken after 1:00 p.m., the sun still has a way to go until it is up in the sky… but it sure beats 5 ½ hours of sunlight in the dead of winter. All the best from Jyväskylä, Finland. Ned

Try to upload a bigger version. Can't see anything.

I can see the small version and I think it's pretty nice. I like the composition -- the long shadows and the sun behind the trees.

Thanks. Sorry for the small photo. Was using Paint.net to reduce the size... trying to figure these things out. Well, it was -8 degrees fahrenheit... I waited till it got warmer... when I got to the lake, the sun was coming through the trees, layered with beautiful snow and frost. Just sorry I didn't provide a larger picture. I was trying to keep with the KB size requirements. All the best. Ned

As far as I can see this is a very nice shot

A few weeks ago I shot a few pics that look almost the same as yours, so I really like the background light and the long shadows, as vv already mentioned!

Eetu: you can go here:

www.tinypic.com

Chose 800X600, and upload your archive.
Once the upload finish, copy the [img] etc. link and paste it in your Steve's post.
It´s easy. If you need help just tell us.

First, many, many thanks for the link!

Second, I followed your instructions to the letter... I first pasted the [img], but it said something like the file is too big... I tried another link, same thing... Wow, how can a jok'n Nokia N95 phone have such a big file... Yes, I did chose 800X600. I just don't what the problem is.

Any ideas, Ordo?

Thanks

Ned
