Nice shot Barbarian. Its a shame the cho cho people couldnt have been more cooperative and had a train engine on the lower track area. It would have been a nice finishing touch. Of course it wouldnt be that difficult to drop one in.

Very nice composition...captures the phrase"Mighty Mississippi" very well. Where is this location? On a train trip from Chicago to Seattle on Amtrak's Empire Builder a few years ago, the train skirted the Mississippi between Wisconsin and Minnesota...it looks familiar.

This is near Sabula, Iowa, just across the river from Savanna, Illinois. It's about 50 miles south of Dubuque.

I grew up on a tiny island in the river, just barely visible in the distance past the bridge.
