Default Canon 17-40L Samples

My wife treated me with a new wide-angle lens for my Christmas. Then I treated her with some early photos from the lens. Fair exchange, right? Following is a link to the album consisting of photos taken on my first outing with the lens yesterday, and one of the photos from the album, below.

Pretty good pics, a wide angle lens is a must have. I looked through your gallery and you have some really good pics in there, I really liked your Alaska pics in the Turnagain Arm area, I was there at the same place back in Oct. 99 just as the first snows were falling, too bad I didn't have a good digital camera then, just my old reliable Pentax WR90 35mm. How do you like your Meade Astroscope? I was thinking about getting one to use with my new G5.

Thanks for the comment Dave. In answer to your question, I really like the Astroscope. It doesn't work with my Canon Digital SLR, and I sold my Nikon 990 and 5000, so I'm going to have to figure out what to do with it, but it sure has been fun to use.
