These are postcards! #1 is a knockout...very nicely done. I have stood in the same spot and captured the Washington Monument...except it was at dusk in the Summer. The Cherry Blossoms really frame it off well.

Carl Zeiss 24-70 f/2.8
The polarizer helped to deepen the color IMO (and different hue in the sky)

do i see a good DR in both the pictures?

shall i blame the 24-70 here..

good ones NHL.....i still have hope Canon will come out with a IS body SOOOON so no adding new system for me
