Went back to Lake Erie this evening to get a few more shots around dusk.

All shot with Olympus E-PL1

Hards,

This is a great series, the color is so vivid. I love the love of the silky smooth waters. The EPL-1 seems to be getting a good workout with you. The kit lens is working out pretty will for you I see.

Thanks Shoturtle.

I shot these in RAW, but had to use the supplied software to convert since I don't have internet on my image editing computer to update Lightroom. But, it didn't do too bad, just not quite the control I am used to.

But yea, I have been shooting the EPL1 alot, and am still very pleased with the results in such a compact package. And actually when I am using a tripod like for these shots, composing on the LCD is actually quite nice.

They are really good results. Did you use IB or master 2 software? IB is a little better then master 2

I used the IB. It's pretty good for bundled software, just miss some of the curves and fine adjustments in LR.

Beautiful images Dustin...the compositioni and color renditions are fantastic. THe water has a nice smooth look to it. I do notice a tad bit of curvature on the horizon though...perhaps caused by some lens distortion.

Now Dustin, these images are stunning, particularly the color picks.
jelpee: horizons can be corrected but at the expense of losing sharpness.
