a classic shot. i really like the layered look and the contrast. the clouds settling in over the mountain tops is nice. these kinds of shots always impress when executed well. nice one my friend

Really lovely, I like this even more than the ones in the other series. You sure do live in a beautiful area, not only that but you capture it so well!!

Great picture. More on your unique style than the first series.

A lot of photographers including myself suffer under the penalty of Murphy's Law. When we are working the sky is dramatic and the conditions are right. When we are off the sun is bright and the sky is bland. You my friend must have found an antidote for this law. It seems a majority of your photos have dramatic skies with a mountain peak hidden and another one in plain view. The window of time for these type of shots is limited, yet you always seem to be on scene at the right moment. Well done...

Thanks everyone for the great comments. Ancientritual, sometimes I hit Murphy's Law too and will not see anything that 'jumps out' at me and will have to wait for another moment and other times I start out disappointed in the conditions, get to the location still looking bad all over, and after some convincing whining, kicking the dirt, pleading, praying and sending up burnt offerings, it all comes together for a great moment ;0)

AWESOME!!!! You absolutely inspire us all. You should look at being published with all your photos.....if you aren't already.
