Default Howarth Creek

i really liked the light on the rocks in this shot of a creek that flows into Puget Sound at Howarth Park in Everett, WA. taken about 45 minutes before sunset on a cloudy afternoon, so the light was very filtered, but there was still a directional element to it... 5D, 24-135 @ 33mm, .6 sec @ f16...

What appeals to me hear Squirl is that you've kept the highlight tone down which saved the moss detail and kept the whites of the water in perfect range. The other thing that greatly adds to the photo is your care for shadows along the top edge and right side of frame. 5 stars!

Wow, this is beautiful. Any chance at seeing a larger (1920x1200) sample? I'd love to snag that for a desktop background
