Default stitched lanscape - Cavin Peru (800KB)

With the glare, overexposure, etc this was probably one of my worse pictures (I'm still playing ) But I found two that stitched well. Here is the result. Not being intentional quite a bit was lost. Two 6.3mp images after the crop came out to about 6.9mp. But I reduced it from 4553x1517 to 2277x759 to speed up internet transfers. Both were taken at 18mm on a digital rebel using the EF-S 18-55 lens (f/7.1, ISO100, 1/125s).

Eric, it looks like it's a really good picture, but could you resize it so we can see it all at once? Because of having to scroll horizontally such a distance, no more than half the picture can be viewed at a time. Since most of us here probably have a screen width of 1024, try to shoot for a max of, say, 950 pixels. I love panoramas, so I'm going to lurk and wait for that resized version.

I was about to post the full sized one instead I see too much quality loss when downsized. All the jaggies become visible when I zoom in. Here you go.

Yes, I thought it was good one, and I thought correctly. Someday I learn to do panoramas half as good--and I'll be proud.

Very, very nice.

I must be picky. I thought I screwed up The new lens has a hood that would have avoided the sunspot. Also I probably would shoot at f/9 or f/10. It looks a little overexposed to me. I posted it because it stitched very well. Next time I go back I need to try it intentionally at Macchu Piccu
