Misty Autumn morning on the edge of town.

The side fence, neighbour's gum tree, Country Energy powerlines — and the rising sun colouring morning's mist.

Bernice,

Fascinating picture. More simple minded people like me might se many cropping possibilities. To me this part is more than enough

thank you for your comment and suggested crop Torgny, I did take other similar shots to your crop, but in portrait orientation and without the fence (I didn't realise the glint off the top of the fence would make that point of interest.)

I chose the top version for a couple of reasons: I liked the graduation from the grey of the mist into the 'glow' - and I really like the silhouette of the tree. Powerlines don't usually worry me. Here, they were the main reason for the title.

Thank you for having the interest to offer a suggestion and comment.

Bernice,

Yes, you truly had a magic light that morning. Great photos all of them. Thank you

Torgny

Wow, its crazy how just cropping of a different section can bring so many sides of one image. The first crop you did Torgny, I thought that was a completely different shot haha...

Original image is amazing !
