Default The Jeffry Pine on Sentinal Dome

This is my rendition of the thousands of images taken here in Yosemite. Although this noble tree has died and been removed, it lives on in many archives throughout the world. It was a favorite subject of Ansel Adams and first photos of it arrived in the mid 1860's. I took this photo in 1964 with my trusty Alpa 6b, using Kodachrome II slide film. I hope that Ansel Adams might have tolerated my desaturated version. The uppermost portion of Half Dome is at far right center.

That is a awesome photograph! I would have to pick the b/w version as my favorite version, excellent Streets!
