Default A "Shady" Picture

Hiya! I took this photo at the lake near my home... I was in the shade... sunlight, what was left of it, was in other spots as you can see. Love these birch trees, but how's for post-processing a shady picture? Hope it suffices. The original photo was underexposed... so, being very new to pp, I did what I could... but willing and wanting to do better. Not sure why I see a trace of magenta in the clouds... but here what I have...

All the best.
