John,

Great photo. Composition, colours excellent. First and foremost I like that you see where the road starts up the hill.

It creates a movement, a direction for the wagon. You just wait for it to get closer. A gentle action photo besides the other qualities

wow John.

this is outside your normal area.

but wow, i love it. the lead in line from the road is perfect. the contrast of the red barn with the drab rest of the scene is great. the buggy gives it the context of amish country.

well done friend.

Notice the road don't have any yellow lines... by far ok with me I would go back to horse and buggy any day if I had the chance.... Great shot... Love the Amish ... which tribe is in this area?

The green, blue, red combination and lead in lines make this a winner, John.

Well done. Would've been interesting to see the cart closer up.

I don't see Amish folks much :-)

Thanks for sharing

Paul

Thanks all. I agree Paul. Comes down to my inexperience in this type of photography. I'd love to go back and get some photos with them using the horse drawn plows.

Has all the elements of a perfect composition perfectly executed. I was also thinking that this is outside your normal shooting habits...was almost looking for the cross country runner! Very nicely done!
