Nice framing of the snow. My son and I went out yesterday and played 9 holes of golf before Christmas dinner. At 8:30 am it was a pleasant 44 degrees and a light breeze less than 4 mph. We started off in sweaters and ended up in short sleeve shirts. This is a tradition for us and we can drive 2 hours and see all the snow we want. Still I like looking at pictures of snow.

Happy New Year

thanks again for the nice comments!

I hope I don't disappoint anyone saying the picture is a result of post processing.
Actually it's quite obvious that almost every pic around us, whether in magazines or on tv and especially the internet is modified somehow.
That's what I do, too with my pics to make them look better and I'm sure, I'm not the only one

However, I think you might be interested in the source image:

I wanted it to look colder, so I modified the light colour and some other curves.
Tell me what you think of the original. Actually it isn't that bad at all I guess.

Aside from making myself nauseous going back and forth between the 2 pictures, I really like the edited one and think you achieved your goals. Brrrrr

Enjoy your work (your dog needs an agent...what a cutie)

Rather than disappointing anyone, I'll bet you're actually reassuring them. If we know how to make a picture better and we don't do it, then we're fools.
