Default The Oklahoma Country Side

A couple of photos taken with a 1984 Canon AE-1 Program film camera with a 50mm and a 135mm lens.

I think the shots are exposed very well. (And are translated from film to digital extremely well.) Some horizons might need to be leveled and I also notice DOF is shallow, but that may be how you want them to be.

To show what I mean about being well exposed, I adjusted some sliders in Photoshop on your last photo. (I hope you don't mind. I love clouds. I also leveled the horizon and added the vignette effect.) I did not use any 3rd party plug-in. I don't think this version is any better than your original, I just wanted to demonstrate that properly exposed shots -- as in the case with your shots -- respond well to PS sliders.

I think BTW that this series would make for a nice walk-along-the-Oklahoma-countryside piece.

Your edits do make the picture look better, although just leveling the horizon would probably been enough, the extra filters give it more of an artistic look. Thanks for the comments.
