Default Noah's Ark syndrome

We Southern Californians are not a hardy lot. We have to see the sun and blue skies every day. After five days of steady rain and grey, we were beginning to develop a Noah's Ark syndrome. I stuck to my regimen of walking the dogs morning and evening, while balancing an umbrella and splashing along the sidewalks. Finally, this afternoon the sun appeared. It was a beautiful sight, right to the last minute.

Love it - very dark. The birds add a lot to it too. I also think it looks like an oil painting - did you give it any special treatment in PP to get that effect ?
