Default NYC blizzard aftermath

Captured this yesterday - 3 days after the blizzard that crippled the city. Notice 3 days after the fact streets are still a mess. But the sun in the clouds made for this shot.

Part of me thinks this is 2 pictures in 1 - the sky and the street but I think the street humanizes it.

What do you think?

Shot with a Nikon D90, 35mm 1.8 dx lens at F22, 1/640th and ISO 200.

I shoot through a Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens on a Nikon D90 and an SB-600.

I like the scene and the colours - but the shadows need bringing out and the sky is blown - maybe dialing back the highlights could do it or if not then a touch of burn (with PS, LR3, Aperture 3 etc.). Worth a try.
