Default Fire on the mountain

this evening's sunset in the Cascades, from the top of the westbound Tinkham Road onramp just west of Snoqualmie Pass... 5D, 24-135 @ 99mm, grad ND filter, 2.5 sec @ f/9.1, -1EV, a touch of ReDynaMix to pull out some detail on the mountain...

Very nicely composed in my opinion Squirl, I like the placement of the peak in the pic, plus the way my eye is carried up through it with the angled cloud. Color is well done and good use of the ND filter. Nice PP to pull the detail. It makes me want to go up to the top and skii down that trail that is cut through the trees Frank

I'd say that's the Holy Grail of landscape photography -- fiery sunset/sunrise skies. Great shot.

Very nice. Love the contrasting colors and the play of diagonals.
