Intriguing and at the same time "strange" - that is my initial response to your picture, Ordo. I don't get the dividing brown-color / B+W background...?

Best regards from Norway,

P.S.: You have managed to wake up my couriosity!

It's just the Atlantic Ocean, the sand and a bird. No b&w manipulation.

Aha, now I get it. Sand and sea - almost the same thing here. Ripples and small waves on both.
Very high vantage-point then. High cliffs or is it taken fom an aeroplane?
Good shot of this exotic looking bird!

High cliffs. A convenient point of view.

This is certainly an interesting shot that depicts vertical dimension rather than the more normal horizontal approach. What does it for me is the foot prints in the sand with the bird high above looking down at them, ...then there's you higher yet looking down on all of it.

Lovely interesting capture, Ordo.
Love the footprints, the bird nd the contrast of the water.
