Default Cumulonimbus calvus

I took this picture late last summer, August to be more precise. It was a cloud that came seeking in behind and gave me feeling that I was soon to be devoured by it. Then it just seeked in around me and the sun showed an array of colours. I don't think I breathed for 10 minuntes, though I must have or I wouldn't be writing this, it was natural magic.

I've used Steve's picture upload so it's only 237kb.

Alasdair,

Indeed a breathtaking photograph. Landscape/cloudscape photo at it's peak. Thank you

Torgny

Wow. These are the most amazing clouds I've ever seen. Very nice pp. Great shot.

There's actually plenty of detail in the foreground, too. I can't resist brightening it up some. I hope you don't mind.

Thank you VV and Ordo for having a look and commenting.

VV I tried doing that, but felt that it stole some of the focuse from the cloud and blasÚd some of the colour reflections on the sea. But I don't mind that you gave it a try.
