Default Old With The New

Hi all,

This may not be an entirely spectacular photo, but there is a little bit of sentimental value behind it.
My father is the reason i got started in photography, i used to see all of his nature photos framed around the house and it what made me want to start taking photos as well. He was the one that first taught me about apertures and shutter speeds.

He almost always used his 50mm lens for most of his photos.
Yesterday in the mail i received my Canon FD to EF converter. I unboxed his old lens and mounted it to the camera. This is the first photo that that lens has taken in 20 years.

Camera info: Canon Digital Rebel XSi Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 20sec exposure @ ISO 1600.

That is a lovely story. Sounds like the lens will be taking photos for many more years to come. Have fun and keep posting.
