Really fab shots, NO.2 is my fave. It has a real/surreal quality to it - really well done.

Hi Torg,
There is something un-nervingly interesting about the crop in #2. If I did not know it was ice, it would take me a while to figure it out. The texture of the ice against the smoothness of the melted water is simply exquisite! You did this one very well!

By now it's all over. Lakes (most of them) are free of ice. Ice can be black at this time of the year. Still early spring over here

Torgny, I think that is what I find most interesting, the fact that the contrast of the "black" against the clearly recognizable ice is fascinating. It almost looks like splashes of mercury on a textured surface. Quite nice ! Frank
