Default Frozen Tree

Here is a frozen tree near my house. The quality is not great, but it is amazing that this tree has not broke yet. It is starting to straighten back up as the ice melts.

Comments are welcome.

wow, almost looking like the Ice Storm of 97' in Maine.... That was probably the worst I have ever seen for an Ice Storm. Buildings collaped, tree's look just like that, but uprooted or broken...

I like the picture, it is indeed great that that tree didn't break. But the (crooked) street light on the left and the tree on the right just distracts. Also, there's a lot of sky that doesn't add much IMHO. What about this composition? Feel free to shoot it down, I'm just playing! :-)

Hmmm, reminds me of that building in France...ah yes, the Arch-de-tree-that went ummph.

Ah, koruvs, that was a true groaner!

Ice storms--ever beautiful, ever treacherous. We had one thirteen years ago in the month of October which none of us can forget. The sound of tree branches breaking was like gunfire and the sound of trees falling was that of bombs. Afterward, we all lived in a war zone of no electricity, no heat, and houses and cars crushed by the tree bombs.

An interesting picture!

The arch would have made a nice 'cut-out and keep' frame for other images!!

Default Reminds me of...

This shot reminds me of two figures hunched over and walking home. That's what I saw...lol. I like it. Tells a story.

Thanks for sharing.

Beep Beep,
Darby :-)
