Default Kerry Park Seattle

Hi all.
Taken at Kerry Park in Seattle on a rare nice day and Mt. Rainier in the background.
Thanks for looking.

love the view from up there. it's really nice if you can get there on a clear day and shoot the sunset...

I really like the way that the heights of the Space Needle and the other buildings lead your eyes to Mt. Rainier. My wife and I have talked about driving up the coast from San Francisco to Seattle. Great shot.

Postcard view of Seattle, especially with Mt. Ranier in the background. I must admit though that while the Space Needle appears to be an integral part of the Seattle skyline, in reality it is a ways away from the cluster of skyscrapers when viewed from Puget's sound. This view you have captured is about the only angle to get it in the picture with the rest of the skyline.

Great composition, great lighting!

Thanks Jelpee and yes it's the typical postcard view of Seattle...lol and no other real angle for that shot. There were many people waiting for sunset to get pics but I wasn't waiting another 6 hours for that so it was on to Renton to get a shot of Jimi Hendrix grave site and on the way a truck threw what looked like a piece of leaf spring in our direction and with no way to avoid it we ran it over and ended up with a flat rear tire right on the busiest part of the freeway but Incidence response was less than 30 seconds behind us and changed our tire, so BIG KUDOS to Seattle road management for that.

Very nice shot, I wanted to get one like this last time I went to Seattle but we didn't have enough time. I ended up getting a decent one of it on my way home down the i5.
