Default Lima Peaks

I am looking for a little critique here if anyone is willing.
Thanks,

Suggestion: Remove some of the black, including the headlights, and have more colorful mountains?

The second one is my pick. Looking at the extra foreground with the headlights didn't 'add' to the photo but the drama in the sky does. Cropping out the foreground was the correct adjustment.

Fantastic shot! Great eye for framing!

I concur with SnapCrazy and spy. SnapCrazy's redo seems more dramatic. Though I probably would have left a little more black at the bottom.

Snap, Spy, and Jeannie, thanks for the help. I am fairly new to this and am forever trying to figure out how to move what I am seeing (and feeling) out from in front of me and into my camera. I often find myself in a really cool setting and get home with a few snapshots that just don't do it justice.
This was a fun scene as almost the entire sky was dark under some thick storm clouds, but out on the horizon were these beautiful sun covered mountains. Here is pano that I stitched together and an edit of it. The pano shows the whole scene a little better, but I think it puts the mountains too far away. Again, I would love any more advice on how best to capture this (and how to edit it).
Thanks again for the advice.

I'm one who likes the first one better. I like the headlights being reflected on the road. I think there's even water splashing. I like it so much that (I hope you don't mind) I tried to make the road appear wet. It's like, heading towards gloom...
