Default Just a few peaceful country views

G'day all

It's summertime in the great land of DownUnder and lots of us locals are out enjoying the sunny times. Here's a few from an early morning walk along the road near to the place I am staying at for 10-days or so + several other general images from the same area

1- a small bridge across the creek - shaded by trees

2- Old post-&-rail fence that's seen better days

3- Slightly more modern fence

4- Hybiscus flower [I think...]

5- more Hybiscus

6- Aussie Natives - Top Knot pigeons ... "ain't love grand"

Hope you enjoy them and as always, comments welcome

Hi Phil

Thanks for showing these delightful photo's, I like them all, but the first one is perhaps my favorite, one can smell the fresh morning air on this photo.

Beautiful images. I sometimes wonder how the old wooden fences survive, but they do (literally) just hang in there!

G'day Banksy & Griddi

One of the (many) things I like to to when on hols is to do before-brekky walks around the neighbourhood / countryside and take photos of the world as I see it

While the sun is low, the shadows are long, there are fewer people & cars around, and the images are 'better'

Thx for your comments
Regards, Phil

Enjoyed the photos, especially #2. The first shot could have been better with HDR.

Are those pigeons venomous? They look like they're getting ready to attack :^B

Very nice pictures. Things are drab and cold here, it's a pleasure to see pictures of warm summer days.
