Stunning countryside and the photos do it justice.

My wife and I just viewed an older Inspector Barnaby mystery show that looks like it may have been filmed around here.

July 21'st is The Snowdon International Race, which follows the same route to the summit- 600 lunatics (of which I'm one..!) racing to the top and back down. It is indeed quite a climb- with one or two sections seriously brutal- but all good fun...!
Stunning views indeed, when the weather allows- which isn't very often...

As I was running up today, just the little old J100 with me- and a much clearer day on the summit- even from the Summit Cafe...

Great series Simon. I went up that way about 55 years ago, my knees wouldn't like it today either. It looks quite civilized these days, the path was a little lumpier then and just a pile of rock, not a cafe up top then.
They handicapped us with an 80lb pack and a rifle without a sling.

Good memories, Thanks!
