i like the first picture! looks busy but still, i like it. also i like the contrast in color. did you use a filter?

the second picture. also very warm and very pleasing to look at

"tall grass" , did you do some major cropping on that picture from the top?

the last picture, depth of field is good and the lighting is good.

thanks for sharing. looking at pictures like yours and the many others in here always inspires me to try to be a better-thoughtful "shooter".

Very nice series

I especially like "tall grass" and "village man".

Tall grass because...

One can almost feel the warm breeze on the grass..

Village man because...

There is history in his face...he conveys that he is new to the lens and wants to do well by the photographer.

Thank you berto and digcamfan.

Berto: All the pictures had a normal UV filter on....I just got lucky with the having no clouds and a good gradient. And no cropping was done on the "Tall Grass" photo - I was sitting right next to it when I took the shot.
