Default Aaaahhhh ~ what an awful way to spend your day

G'day all

Down the local waterhole last weekend, some of the locals were out & about. What an "awful" way to spend a few hours...

1- Kayak paddlers on Oakey Creek, Bowenville Qld.

Fuji X-s1 - exif = lens at 30mm equiv; 1/420sec @ f3,6, ISO 100

2- Kayak paddlers on Oakey Creek, Bowenville Qld.

Fuji X-s1 - exif = lens at 100mm equiv; 1/320sec @ f4,5, ISO 100

Comments always welcome
Regards, Phil

Phil,

Indeed a terrible way to spend an afternoon . These kayaks look a bit like rapid (whitewater?) kayaks. Are they? You've got fall up there by now, don't you?

In the picture above there is a slight diagonal kommunikation between the girl in the green shirt and the one in the other kayak. I like the pictures

Seems the girls in the kayak with motor are loosing "momentum"; or is it the other way around

G'day Torgny

Thx for your thoughts ... Neither kayak was motorised, and -yes- the girls were paddling quietly together along the creek

As to the weather - yes we are approaching autumn with winter soon to follow; the nights are starting to chill slightly, down to 8 - 12deg C at night where we are at the moment. R-e-a-l cold nights out here will be around zero +/- 5deg at night during July & August

Keep smiling & regards, Phil
