Default alpine view

followed one of the hundreds of forest service roads around here this afternoon, all the way to the top o' the hill... pretty nice view from up there! light was horrid, but i didn't have time to hang out there till sunset (around 9:00 PM), so i had to make do with a polarizer and a grad ND. i also took some bracketed shots, and i'll see what i can do with those in Photomatix later. but for now....

Out where the rivers like to run, I stand alone, and take back something worth remembering...

A very, very nice capture. Great balance of trees, mountains and sky. Well done.

A little less foreground greenery, and a bit more sky would make the snow cap mountain stand out more. With so much greenery, you do not really know what is the focal point of the shot.
