Default Mars Surface?????

Not really, but the "Cheltenham Badlands"
If you ever get the chance, it is def. worth a trip to see. As is the whole valley area, including the "Fork's Of The Credit" park.

Yes, interesting location and very nice shots. This would make for stock photo ready for sky manipulation to look otherworldly.

Great location Cardys, you should go there early morning or later in the day. The shadows and colours will be more dynamic.

This spot was created by a farmer back in the 1930's. Clearing land that shouldnt have been cleared and allowing the cattle to overgraze as well as ploughing exposed all this clay soil and lots of rain over the years created the shape. Pretty interesting. I happened to visit it yesterday arriving before sunrise and took these. Instead of sunrise all I got was early morning fog.
