Default A couple not so crowded beach pictures in Oahu

We drove around finding a couple beaches we could swim in without having too many people around.

Picture #1 and 2 were taken at Pokai Beach at Waianae.
Picture #3 was taken at Ko Olina Beach Lagoon 4 near the resort hotels.

Welcome to Oahu! Hope you got to see the north shore with great photo ops at Sunset Beach, Laniakea (Turtle Beach), Shark's Cove, Waimea Bay, and more. Great sunsets this time of year from all of the north shore locations, weather permitting (currently having a spell of heavy rains). But if raining, go to Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens for some great waterfall shots along the Koolau mountain range.

Thanks for the tips! we only stay there for 4 days long enough to attend a wedding and a family picnic before the wedding. We didn't have much time to do much since my wife and son had to go back to work.

The Pokai bay area is often overlooked and is almost never on the usual tourist routes. I'm surprised you visited it. The sunset from Pokai Bay at certain times of the year can be spectacular.

Thanks for the comments! Waikiki beaches were too crowded for me. We drove around looking for beaches which were not crowded. My son is very good in doing stuffs like that. He is a well-traveled world traveler. We haven't been to Hawaii for a long time and this 4 days stay at Oahu was a treat. I had a good suntan from going outdoors shooting bird pictures and lots of locals at the beach and the restaurant near the beach thought that I was a Hawaiian native.
