Default last light on Mt Challenger

took a li'l jaunt up into the north Cascades on Friday, this was one of the shots i brought back... at 8207 feet, Mt Challenger is one of the taller peaks in the Pickett Range which is a sub-range of the Washington Cascades. 5d2, 24-105 @ 88mm, 1/25 sec @ f/8, -2/3 EV

Out where the rivers like to run, I stand alone, and take back something worth remembering...

G'day Rocky

I really enjoy this image - beaut colours & lighting ... it's got all the elements for a good landscape [foreground - middle distance - background] etc and it just clicks with me

The sort of thing I could enjoy on any wall in the house

ps- Aussie's tallest 'mountain' is only 7400 feet high ... we've got a very old and eroded continent where there are more open plains than peaks, and those peaks we have aren't spikey at all

Has Lumix mirrorless & superzoom cameras and loves their amazing capabilities
Spends 8-9 months each year travelling Australia
