Urban photos,

That fake sun is such a delightful shot. I am enthralled by the colors and the silhouettes.

Melanie,
I remember when you first posted the lightning shot and I was bowled over then and am still fascinated by it.

Vito,
That stream looks good enough to sit under and just relax in its cool waters. Lovely work.

Aloha

Imacer: put at the end of your url (no spaces)

Also, your picture does not exist at the file location you gave.

Hi Steven,

My favorite photos are of family members and of a wonderful girl
who is no longer a part of my life.

As does Melanie, for their privacy, I choose not to post them.

They are, however, forever posted in my heart, forever.

Other than people, my favorite places to photograph are the
mountains and the sea.

Here is one from the mountains (shot with an HP200 (max megapixels ~ 1) now
handed down to a family member):

It is just an "okay snapshot", really. However, the moment
and the circumstances of its capture are what make it a
favorite of mine.

Great thread, Steve!

It's more than "just an okay snapshot." It's beautiful.

I really like that one. Your eyes start looking at the palms trees and then your view is drawn down to the water by the very well composed lines that the rocks create.

Good work!
