The composition and view are great. However, since you asked what do you think... I could not help but notice that the colors seem a bit odd. The land colors are very subdued while the clouds and blue skies are just shy of overwhelming. Just curious why the photo looks like that.

Keep clicking away.

I would hazard a guess and say the colors look like that because that is what they actually look like in real life. Notice the similarity in color of this totally unrelated pic of Titikaka

Default Absolutely Breathtaking

The image is absolutely breathtaking. The scene and composition are good. Because there is equal sharing of the space by sky/water and land, I was wondering if cropping the top or the bottom would help focus the viewer either to the sky/water scene or the land/water scene. Regardless, the image is a nice piece of work - breathtaking.

I suspect the elevation is between 2,500 and 3,000 meters, hence the blue of the sky.

Well Done,

rod

Maishar,

Thanks for the reply. Rod's comment re the elevation makes some sense.
Thanks all...

Thanks everybody for the reply..

First, Lake Titikaka is 3.8km high.
Second, indeed in this high alttitude the sky appears to be more blue but not so much (at least in this case). The cause of the "unrealistic" colors is my flat-bed scanner (Epson Stylus CS3200). The colors on the slide appear a bit more natural and "alive".

Sigh, just lovely.
Must stop showing images like this to people stuck in snow with bad case of cabin fever.
