Default Seward Alaska (winter)

A quick visit to beautiful Seward Alaska, practicing some new techniques in areas I don't have much experience with. C&C welcome... Thanks!

firstascent,

About the same position as up here in northern Europe. Stockholm. Close to Anchorage? Wonderful x 4, each picture has it's own merits. Can I post proposals for slightly alternative croppings? (Couldn't keep my sticky fingers away from any of them )

What a morning!

It's about a 3 hr drive from anchorage, so fairly close.
And yes please, feel free to make some crop adjustments. I'm always open to new ideas, and I rarely crop my photos so I'm curious to see what you would've done, Thanks!!

Love the one with the start trails! How long was the total exposures?

Wingman- total exposure was about 45 minutes.

Torgny- I see what you did, simple but I like it. Thanks for your input!

Seems you have one part of a "sun dog" to the right - was there a similar shape to the left, forming a very long "celestial parenthesis"?

I don't recall seeing it to the left as well, wish I could go back and see it again
