Nice shot. The contrast of the blue sky and warm evening sun is a nice complement to the rays.

An associate of mine was a very successful travel photographer with probably the best agent in NY. He took a shot similar to that about 30 years ago and sold it dozens of times over the years. He had a portfolio of major ads that were done with the photo as a background. The rays were more consistently like the bright one coming from the notch and the cloud was lower and less distinct. He specialized in night photography and did almost everything on a tripod with ASA 25 slide film until it became hard to find. He just happened to have some ASA 100 slide film in the camera and grabbed the shot. Made more money from it than any other shot he ever took.

A little Story with this, I took it while getting home from a horse show. grabbed the Nikon and shot, It was about 3 months after my father paseed away. I didn't notice at the time I shot it but that yellow light ray comming in middle of the Pic is the Church and graveyard where my Dad is burried. Interesting??
