G'day mate

I dunno about "its worst side" .... maybe it is a bit miserable coz of the cold
I like the 'layback' seats on the footpath in #1 - would be great on a sunny day

The layback seats were put there during the really boring autumn. Never seen anyone sitting there

This sofa may be an alternative - at least softer

G'day mate

A nice series showing a side of life I in the great land downunder never see ... s-n-o-w and the cold that goes with it

Could I be bold and suggest that the subject could do with "+1/2 to +1 EV"

Is this any better / whiter or is real snow grey?

Yes, much better. Some texture to the black furniture. Thank you, Phil. On the colour of snow - now that's a worthy object for a scientific expedition from the south

Set sails. You'll be very surprised

There are "experts" - mostly they need to start from the beginning. Field studies. A postulate: snow can have _any_ colour; _any_ hue; _any_ lightness; _any_

There's more philosophy to the colour of snow than to HDR

Follow these haretracks when it's too hot around you. Take care!

With pic 1, cant quite place my finger on it, not sure if its the light,
but the image seems to hold alot of 'noise'.
The 2nd image doesn't seem to do this, but could do with a bit of tweaking like the later snow work, to lighten the over darkened portions.
