Default Want to share my website with you :)

Hi
I wanted to direct you to my new website. I have a number of landscape photos there amoung others. Those of you who have been on this site a while may remember me and even recognise some of them.

Any feedback on the site would be appreciated as I am trying to start a business with it.

Thank you,
Martin.

Hi, the site is quite nice a flows well.

I found a couple of annoying things, on some images when you get the full view it is larger that the monitor and there are no scroll bars to move down to the bottom to see any text you have.

A minor point mostly on the tutorals, once selected there is no button to navigate back, you have to use the browsers back button.

Oh in your bio did you mean you have been a photographer for 30 years or are a 30 year old photographer

Thanks for your observations Peter. The 'about' text is now fixed. The tutorials if you want to choose a new one then you currently have to click the LEARN link again. I plan to add links to all the tutorials so you can choose a new without going back to the LEARN menu. As for the image windows being too small you should be able to resize the windows even though there are no scroll bars. But I agree some of them could be problematic especially for those who have a 800x600 screen resolution.

Thanks for your feedback once again.

By the way, what is your browser and version? Mac or PC?

Martin.

Hi Martin,

I am from St. Andrews (40ish miles North of you) so I was very interested when I saw this. Its a superb looking site and I really like the photos, esp. the one with the clouds reflecting in the river.

Best of luck,

Richard.

I am using a Thinkpad with W2K and IE6-sp1, monitor is 1024*768.
It only happened on a couple of images but they were larger than the largest window I could resize to.

I guess another reason to get a new laptop with a 17inch screen

Welcome back, Martin.

I think this forum has been missing your shots.

Great tasteful site and wonderful shots.

I particularly appreciated the new shots in Lines and Forms section as well as some wonderful compositions in the Plant/Creature section.

Thank you brtsergio. Perhaps this year I will post new shots here. I'm not managing to take as many as I would like because of other commitments. Hopefully things will improve!

Martin.
