Default South Rim Grand Canyon

Took a trip to AZ back in March and this was one of my favorite stops. The picture shows up rather small here but it is actually a 12x36" Pano. I had it printed up as a metal print with a 3/4" float block mount and it's hanging in my living room.

It pays to be there at the right time. A couple weeks ago I showed up too early and most of that image was in shadow and the colors were all muted. Couldn't hang around for the sun to do its thing. I found the Grand Canyon to be the least impressive of the numerous canyons I traveled through like Salt River, Bryce, Zion, de Chelly, Red Rock etc.
