Default Frozen Lake Fulmor

While heading over the San Bernadino mountains on the way to the Salton Sea, we stopped at a small frozen lake at 6,000 ft. elevation.

Looks to be a beautiful place to engage in some wildlife observation and a bit of macro photography. It has been a very long time since I was out in California. Those are some interesting and excellent photographs.

Thanks, Ken. We did see some fishermen unloading their gear from an SUV, but not sure where they'd find a spot with no ice. We also flew a drone there but took video not photos.

Now that you mention it, it does look like a great place to cast a fly or two, maybe three...

The shots look like they could have been taken here in Ontario as well as California. Lots of lakes around here frozen.
