Default Texas sunsets

Here are a couple shots of the wonderful sunsets we've been getting lately down here...

The above shot is grainy because the original came out pretty dark, I'd intentionally underexposed to try to catch more of the sunset colors but it turned out to be a bit much. I couldn't get all the grain out so I just went with it and enhanced it.

And, my favorite, the sun hit these plain, boring brown dirt 'cliff' just right and turned them into a beautiful reddish color.

I've used Photoshop Elements on all of these. Most were for levels, and cropping. I may have used color cast adjustment on some of them, I can't quite remember. And, obviously, I added a frame to the first one.

Take care,
Jeff

If you want to remove noise have a go with Neat Image as it's free to download.
Here's the link

http://www.neatimage.com/download.html

All you do is use this program then sharpen up in Photoshop or whatever you use.

I'll send an edited version of your picture in a PM so you can see what it does.

Love the red dirt on the last one...

Reminds me of the shores of Prince Edward (no longer an) Island
in Canada!

Here is a link to PEI shore...not the best example, tho'

Oops. I replied to your PM before I saw this message telling me what you used. Nevermind.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I'm off to get the Neat Image and read about the island that no longer is.

Take care,
Jeff

Excellent group of pictures - I really love the last 2, especially the one with the yellow clowds and blue sky.

I'm sorry I never commented on your pictures before, I really like the first and last ones.

Great shots. I like 3,4 and 6 but 6 is my fav. Love the way the swirls of the clouds and the colors give the whole pic texture.
